the purpose of this modlist is to help people who align with ideals such as pro-ship, pro-fiction, anti-harassment, anti-censorship, don't like don't read, ship and let ship, your kink is not my kink (and that's ok), or similar curate a safer and more drama-free bsky experience, and avoid people who mutually prefer not to share a space with us. it's for mass-blocking (or mass-muting, if preferred) and moving on.being on the modlist isn't a "punishment," an insult, or a condemnation of you as a person. if anything, it's mutually beneficial, because it means you're less likely to see people and content you'd find objectionable.(if you're a non-fannish person who ended up here and has no idea what's going on, the anti-fan archive at fujoshi.info is a good resource to learn what an anti-shipper is and why so many of us want to block them.)
i only add people for the reasons listed here. if someone claims to have been added for a different reason, or for a thing i've outright said doesn't get you added, they're either mistaken (nbd, it happens) or lying.i add people if their behavior on any platform warrants it, not just bluesky. the list is manually maintained, and i only add accounts after personal verification.please note: the name of the list is "anti-ship and other stuff," not "anti-ship and nothing else." if i say my bag has my keys, my phone, and my wallet, i'm not saying every item in the bag is a key. some people on the list are antis. some are other stuff. if you're on here and upset about being "labeled as an anti," you don't need to be.
➼ identifying as antiship, "anti-proship," an anti to a specific kink, or similar.➼ moralizing over ships, kinks, or engagement with art/fiction. (ex: conflating portrayal with endorsement; claiming liking x character, y show, or z ship makes you a bad or dangerous person; etc.)➼ insulting or denigrating people for their ships, kinks, or the art/fiction they engage with. (no exceptions. it's been my experience that people often think that fictional ageplay material - such as loli/shota/cub art - "doesn't count." it does.)➼ engaging in ship/kink discourse on the anti side, or parroting anti talking points. (check the anti-fan archive, linked on the carrd's main page, for examples.)➼ engaging in or boosting harassment campaigns over art, fiction, or kink, including by liking or reblogging callouts. or, expressing that these campaigns are justified/deserved.➼ a stated dislike of or desire not to interact with proshippers. (ex: "proship dni" or "ew i saw a proshipper in this tag.")➼ "neutral" stances that amount to shaming or victim blaming people who've been harmed by antis. (ex: saying victims of antiship harassment are "just as bad" as their harassers; saying victims of stalking, harassment, doxxing, and so on should just "touch grass;" implying it's shameful, drama-mongering, or "cringe" for harassment victims to talk openly about their experiences or for others to support those victims; etc.)
for these, i look at the full context of the account and make a judgement call. i lean heavily towards not adding ambiguous cases, because i prioritize avoiding false positives over casting the widest possible net.➼ having the sort of vague dni criteria that antishippers often use to dogwhistle their position. (ex: "freaks dni")➼ "neutral" stances that are clearly and openly proship-hostile, even if they're also hostile to antis.➼ hitting like on posts that unambiguously fall under the definite block criteria. (i only do this for especially egregious posts, like ones advocating for violence, or callout posts.)
➼ having a squick, trigger, hard limit, or notp. expressing in a non-derogatory, non-moralizing way that you don't want to see specific material or interact with accounts that post it.➼ critical, non-stigmatizing discussion of sexuality and sexual hegemony, including critiques of sexual norms in culture, of the mainstream porn industry, and so on.➼ critical or negative discussion of mass media/commercial media. ("i found the fanservice in x anime tonally jarring" isn't a moral condemnation or a call for censorship.)➼ opposition to, or criticism of, hate speech, propaganda, or similar.➼ being against sexual abuse, inappropriate relationships between adults and minors, and so on. (i am obviously also against these things. come on. be serious.)➼ not using a specific label ("proship" or otherwise), or self-describing as neutral.➼ being on someone else's antiship (etc) modlist.➼ posts over two years old at time of addition, unless accompanied by more recent evidence suggesting the user hasn't changed their stance.➼ if you've read this far and you intend to DM me about removal, please include the codeword "opossum" in your message, so i know you read it. i would appreciate it, because then i know we're on the same page.
